EASA Form 1
The authorised release certificate issued by an approved organisation confirming that a component was maintained or produced to an approved standard and is fit for installation.
Why it matters
A component without a valid release document is, for practical purposes, not fit to fit. The paperwork is not an administrative copy of the part — it is part of it.
