Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation
An approved organisation responsible for keeping an aircraft airworthy between maintenance visits: managing the maintenance programme, tracking directives and life limits, controlling deferred defects, and keeping the technical records that prove all of it.
Why it matters
A CAMO's work is judged on evidence, not memory. The hard part is not doing the work — it is being able to show, on any given morning, that every applicable requirement was met and where the proof sits.
