Certification Maintenance Requirement
A scheduled task established during type certification to detect failures that would otherwise stay hidden. Its interval cannot be escalated like an ordinary maintenance task.
Why it matters
These tasks look like any other line in the programme, which is exactly the risk: escalating one during an optimisation exercise is a certification issue, not a planning one.
