Aircraft on Ground
An aircraft unable to fly until a part or repair arrives — the highest-urgency state in maintenance and supply, where cost is subordinate to time.
Why it matters
AOG decisions are made in minutes and documented afterwards, which is exactly when approval chains and supplier checks get skipped.
